Photography

Photographs by Aashutosh Vyas and Manit Trivedi. Twenty-two original color portfolio photographs alternate with all twenty-two uploaded photographs on the hanging line. Original portfolio titles and locations are preserved; uploaded photographs use descriptive labels. Images are not competition submissions. Copyright remains with each photographer.

The local image catalogue retains original Cloudinary URLs and attribution. Optimized local copies avoid third-party image requests during browsing. Every photograph displays its full frame, including any original border or embedded signature. Photographs retain their original colors; monochrome selections were replaced with genuine color photographs, not artificially colorized.

Typefaces and reference

The typography and image-led composition draw from U+270D, the EESAB-Rennes type foundry. Compagnon supplies the display, italic, and original wordmark. Director by Justine Herbel and May Jolivet supplies captions. Outfit by Rodrigo Fuenzalida remains the reading face. Fonts are self-hosted with their SIL Open Font License notices.

Compagnon was designed by Juliette Duhé, Léa Pradine, Valentin Papon, Sébastien Riollier and Chloé Lozano and released by Velvetyne.

Motion

GSAP by GreenSock powers the subtle typography entrance. The supplied Polaroid Line Carousel uses React, spring-driven drag physics, and real photographs. Reduced motion disables autoplay and swaying. Controls pause automatic motion.

Creative direction

Original color photography against Japanese-ink-inspired cool grays, restrained typographic specimens, and prints suspended from a sagging line.
